What to Expect

When you come to Rock Prairie, you can expect to be greeted by people are excited to see you! You will experience corporate worship of Jesus Christ with people who love the Lord, and you will be encouraged by the careful exposition of God’s Word from one of our pastors, always pointing to the Gospel. We also believe firmly in the power of prayer. Each week we hold hands across the aisles to pray over the needs of our body, and after each service there will be someone from our prayer team available to pray with you about anything that is going on in your life.

For Your Kids

Our RP Kids team is committed to joining with families in training up kids to love God and make Him known from the neighbors to the nations (Deut 6:4-9). We provide an environment for your children that is safe and fun with hands-on, gospel-centered Bible lessons! We teach from the Bible and utilize WonderInk curriculum for RP Kids 2yo-5th grade. This curriculum in rooted in the Gospel and empowers kids to understand the fullness of who they are in God’s Big Story as they discover 4 core truths: I am known by God. I am loved by Jesus. I am led by the Holy Spirit. I am a child of God.

Sunday School classes are available during the 10:30 a.m. service. Newborns through Kindergarten have classes that run the full length of the service and are welcome in their classes prior to service. Kids from 1st-5th grade join their families in service for worship, then are dismissed to their classes for age-appropriate learning. All RP Kids should be checked-in prior to service by using their parent’s phone number. To complete your kid’s profile prior to visiting, please complete this form.

In addition, on Wednesday evenings from September through April, kids are invited back to join us for BLAST! BLAST stands for Bible Learning and Spiritual Training. During this time kids are broken up in 4 teams and attend 3 rotations: games, small groups and a lesson based on Kids4Truth systematic theology.
