What to Expect

When you come to Rock Prairie, you can expect to be greeted by people are excited to see you! You will experience corporate worship of Jesus Christ with people who love the Lord, and you will be encouraged by the careful exposition of God’s Word from one of our pastors, always pointing to the Gospel. We also believe firmly in the power of prayer. Each week we hold hands across the aisles to pray over the needs of our body, and after each service there will be someone from our prayer team available to pray with you about anything that is going on in your life.

For Your Kids

Our Rock Prairie Children’s Ministry Team is committed to providing an environment for your children that is safe and fun with engaging, gospel-centered Bible lessons! Sunday Children’s classes are available during the 10:30 a.m. service. Newborns through age 4 have classes that run the full length of the service.

Students from Kindergarten through grade 5 remain in service with their parents until worship time is completed, then are dismissed to their classes for age appropriate learning. We are currently teaching The Gospel Project which is a three-year curriculum that teaches kids how the whole bible points to Jesus.

In addition, on Wednesday evenings from September through March, Rock Prairie hosts AWANA. AWANA meets from 6:00 – 7:30 and classes are available for students from age 3 – 5th grade. There is also a nursery available for those parents who have babies / toddlers and choose to serve in AWANA.
