I grew up in the small town of Archbold in northwest Ohio. I graduated from Taylor University where I met my beautiful wife, Emily, and we got married in 2012. I attended Southern Seminary where I received my M.Div in Church Ministries in 2016. I was the Men’s and Missions Pastor at a church in Davenport, Iowa before receiving the call to become the Senior Pastor at Rock Prairie in January of 2019. Emily grew up in Kokomo, and both Emily and I are thrilled to be “back home again in Indiana.” We have one son, Owen.
As a former Missions Pastor, I’m passionate about seeing the gospel go out to the ends of the earth, and I consider it an honor and a privilege to preach God’s Word as our church makes Christ known from our neighbors to the nations. I believe that all of scripture points to Jesus, and that from Genesis to Revelation we see God’s plan to redeem people from every nation, tribe and tongue.
I enjoy roasting coffee and watching the Atlanta Braves. Emily loves to run and is an amazing stay at home mom. Owen’s favorite activities include hopping around like a frog and running to the back porch to see the train whenever it passes by our house.
