I grew up in the small town of Atlanta, Indiana and then moved to Tipton when I was 15. I graduated from Hamilton Heights and then went on to International Business College for Computer Applications. I married my amazing husband Butch Harpel in 2003. We have 8 kids: Danyelle lives in Florida, Kaitlynne lives in North Carolina, Iahn & Huntlea live in Alabama, Mak is studying at Anderson University, Addy, Arabelle and Eve attend Tipton High school. Eve is a foreign exchange student from Brazil. We have the great privilege of being grandparents to Olive and Marjorie. Last but not least we have two black labs, Duke and Hope. Our house is very busy, but I love every minute of it.
I accepted the Lord as my savior in 2011, through the loss of my mother-in-law to cancer. (Romans 8:28) I have grown in huge ways since 2011 in my walk with Christ. My family has been to Ghana Africa on mission trips 3 times. The people there have a special place in our heart.
I enjoy serving at the church in a lot of different ways. I enjoy being active with volleyball and pickle ball. My family loves to go camping, playing games and spending time with friends. We love our Rock Prairie family!
