I grew up in North West Indiana right outside of Chicago. I was homeschooled through 12th grade and graduated with my undergrad in Elementary Education from Valparaiso University. I’m married to Marcus Widup and we have 4 kids: Emerick Lewis, Arden Jace, Kaden Anthony, and Eliza Maggie. I have the joy of staying at home with our kids and one day a week I change pace to assist in kids/youth ministry at church.
I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior around the age of seven but not until my husband and I were on the mission field did I understand the depth of the Father’s love for me and my family. I am daily baffled by the Heavenly Father’s love for his people. My biggest desire is having our children follow the Lord.
In my free time I like to sip on a hot cup of coffee (that has not been reheated three times), run, hike, explore parks, cook, explore new places, and learn new things.
